Type of Job:
Administrative Internship (10-15 hours/week)
Marketing/Design Internship (10-15 hours/week)
Main Areas of Responsibility: Reports to the CEO and/or COO. The Student Intern is involved in degree related projects that is aligned with their academic program while maintaining the mission of United Natives. Responsible for fulfilling tasks set out by supervisor.
Additional Areas of Responsibility (Varies on Internship type, skill level and interest level):
- Report preparation and data collection for analysis
- Helps create surveys
- Data collection (qualitative/quantitative)
- Develops presentations (ppt, video, poster)
- Compile technical reports
- Assist in social media management
- Attend meetings as appropriate to assignment
- Assist with medical and community-based supplies to the Navajo Nation
- Assist with marketing strategies
- Create marketing content for website and social media
- Review and edit website content
- Assist with inventory
- Assist with correspondences with Chapter Houses on the Navajo Nation and other tribes
Other Information/Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate student attending a college/university
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Proficient in Microsoft and OS applications
- In depth knowledge of Native American culture and tribal community organizations
